This church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, is a Jamaica National Heritage Trust (JNHT) historical site. Construction began in 1534 using cut stone and marble taken from a quarry about a mile up the hill. It was originally known as the Peter Martyr Church. The small stained glass shows Columbus' ships Nina, Pinta & Santa Maria.
